"You know, one day you look at the same person and you see something more than you did the night before. Like a switch has been flicked somewhere. And the person who was just a friend is....suddenly the only person you can ever imagine yourself with."    -  Gillian Anderson

I grew up in the film era of photography. Humble beginnings, using a Kodak 110 then fortunate enough to use Canon and Nikon 35mm point and shoot cameras in the 80's - 90's. My first digital camera was a gift from my now-husband in 2007. A Kodak Easyshare point and shoot. I was going to visit my son and his family out of state and my husband wanted me to have a proper camera to take photos with.

Light Whale

I chose this particular quote today because it describes two things. It describes the two great love affairs of my life; my husband and my photography. Both were there all along...........it was just a matter of flicking the switch.
